The present work has as main objective the proposal of improvement in the process of setup of an agricultural equipment, denominated double mechanized brushcutter, model RO23101 of the manufacturer TATU Marchesan™. The equipment is used to carry out one of the most important activities related to the branch of grass production, i.e., its pruning. For this kind of operation the equipment was designed by the manufacturers with manual and low precise adjustments for height of cuttings. This is used for pruning of vegetation in the plantations and orchards where there is no due requirements with respect to the standard and height adjustment. However, for grass producers, this process of pruning should be treated with greater care, since it is of extreme importance for the development, formation and final finishing of the lawns. For this specific area (lawns) customers are high quality demanding. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to analyze, develop and design a hydraulic cutting height adjustment system, which does not require the direct manual influence of the operator for its adjustment, thus reducing the total equipment setup process time and improving quality performance. The expected result of this work showed a greater performance and agility in the process of setup in the prun0xing of the lawns, as well as the control of its height by means of the hydraulic system.
