This paper presents the definition, parameterisation, standardisation of information model of machine-specified process in additive manufacturing. Due to the poor information sharing and exchange of Additive Manufacturing (AM) machine-specified process, we propose to model process activities using Integrated Definition for Functional Modelling (IDEF0). First, machine-specified information is defined to mainly focus on tool operations and mechanism effects for solidification process. Then, parameterisation of this process enables to review design, material, process and testing information for representing relative data structure. Finally, machine-specified process is discussed in the context of STEP-NC standards, which will advance the integration and standardisation of Additive Manufacturing processes.
